Using PLS_Toolbox and Solo Models On-Line

Course Description

Using PLS_Toolbox and Solo Models On-Line discusses modeling and implementation considerations for using multivariate analysis in on-line, at-line, embedded or other "production" applications. The focus will be on how to successfully take an application to a real production environment. The course will discuss methods used to build stable robust models, testing for unexpected results, handling historical data, logistics of implementation and documentation, and software interfacing. The students will become familiar with various model implementation options and the pros and cons of these methods.

Prerequisites

Linear Algebra for Chemometricians and MATLAB for Chemometricians, or equivalent experience.
